IMPROV FOR PEOPLE WITH PARKINSON’S DISEASE & CARE PARTERS
June 8 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm EST
An event every month that begins at 10:30am on day Second of the month, repeating until November 10, 2019
Join us in this free class, Improvisational Theatre for persons with Parkinson’s and their caregivers. You don’t need to be a performer on stage to learn these fun and laugh-filled improv games. In this class, you will learn improvisational theatre exercises that benefit emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing. After each class participants find their stress levels have decreased while their laugh lives have increased.
One former care partner shared the following: “Thanks so much! You have no idea what this class has done for him. He’s so much more like his “old self” than I’ve seen in several years. And this summer, with many of our friends up north, is the first summer since we’ve been here that he was not super depressed. Your class has given him something to do that he totally enjoys!”
Classes are held monthly on a saturday, and the date varies. Contact the organizer to learn more about when next month’s class will be held.
