Resiliency in Action
May 17 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm MDT
An event every day that begins at 9:00am, repeating until May 18, 2019
Let’s face it. Amidst the joyous and pleasurable experiences in life, there are also painful, difficult ones. We don’t have to look far for these difficult circumstances.
Resilience is the capacity to cope with and emotionally metabolize these inevitable disruptive unwanted changes. Being able to weather these disruptions well often makes the difference between thriving and barely surviving. These capacities to handle stressors depend on our habits of mind and body. The good news is that these habits can be learned through known, effective practices.
Based on the most recent research and practice in resilience, you will learn to:
- Expand your capacity to respond to stressors
- Encode and internalize positive experiences
- Learn mindfulness and self-compassion skills
- Mindset activation for important and effective conversations
