The Aging Institute of UPMC Senior Services and Hillman Cancer Center at UPMC McKeesport are proud to offer a local group to help meet the emotional needs of caregivers or care partners in the McKeesport and surrounding area. This support group is for anyone who is caring for an aging loved one. This group is not specific to caregivers or care partners who are caring for someone with dementia, cancer, or any diagnosis or health condition.
Are you caring for a loved one and feel the need for additional emotional support? Social interaction is an important aspect of overall health. Support groups can offer a setting where caregivers talk about challenges and insights as they continue their caregiving journey. If you are interested in talking with other caregivers and care partners in a group setting, consider joining us!
This support group takes place at 1pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at UPMC McKeesport in the Aging Institute Conference Room on the 1st floor of the Crawford Building in Suite 145. Parking in the parking garage is free. There is also valet parking available. For questions about finding this room or parking questions, please contact the Aging Institute.
If interested in attending, please reach out to us first, so we can learn more about you! To learn more about this support group or our community education series, please reach out to the Aging Institute. You can:
