National Caregiver Training Program

05:30 PM - 08:30 PM

This course, led by a registered nurse, teaches skills for caring for older adults and brings an opportunity to connect with other family caregivers. Topics covered include medication management, taking vital signs, wheelchair use, providing bathing and personal assistance, doing lifts and transfers safely (for both of you), and much more. Caregivers practice skills in class, learn from each other, and even have fun!

Registration: Both classes are open to Boulder County Residents caring for a relative, partner or friend, who is 60+, or of any age if the person has dementia. No charge: donations welcome. Up to $180 in reimbursement for respite care (substitute elder care during class periods) is available! Pre-registration required and available using the link below or by calling 303-678-6116.
