Homeland Center and its community outreach services of Homeland Hospice, Homeland
HomeCare and Homeland HomeHealth are now planning the 2021 Homeland Hospice
5K and Memory Walk, and cordially invite you to join us on Saturday, June 19th – 5000 Ritter Road, Mechanicsburg.
Our 5K and Memory Walk attracts serious runners and casual walkers alike. The Memory
Walk portion of the event leads participants through engaging hands-on activities to share
memories of their loved ones. All proceeds benefit Homeland Center’s benevolent care
program, which underwrites costs for residents whose economic resources have been
exhausted as well as Homeland Hospice supportive services like massage and music therapy
and additional in-home relief hours. More than $3 million was allocated last year to assure
that residents, patients and families could treasure every moment together.
Race day registration is from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m. The race begins and 8:30 and will include professional timing. The shorter Memory Walk starts at 8:35.
$100 will be awarded to the top male and female finishers. Ribbons will be awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers in eight age brackets.
Online registration is available at homelandhospice.org or call 717-221-7890 and ask for Myra.
We hope you will join us at the event.
