Senior Fear: Exploring Different Types of Anxiety Disorders in Older Adults

Everybody has anxiety. Anxiety is a normal human response to perceived danger. But if a senior is experiencing anxiety when there is no real threat, there may be an anxiety disorder diagnosis that requires treatment. This interactive seminar will discuss the different types of anxiety disorders including that impact older adults including, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Symptoms, causes, and treatment options will be covered extensively.
