Panel Discussion - Medicare, Medicaid, or Both for Individuals with Disabilities BevVan Phillips

RSVP  to me at  BevVanP@mykeypt.com  with your  email and phone number and I will send you a  Zoom video conference and phone link for the July 14th , 2021 Webinar within 24 hours.   We are so excited to be able to now invite you to the 6th  webinar in our continuing series titled, Medicare, Medicaid, or Both on  July 14th , 2021  Noon to 1 pm.      This session will continue the conversation about Medicare, Medicaid, or Both for individuals with disabilities under the age of 65  with a look at services and benefits for Veterans and Military Families.  Please help us spread the word and share this flyer with professionals and the people and families receiving services.   WHY A SERIES?   This webinar series came about because a group of professionals providing services to people with disabilities under the age of 65 were unable to answer all the questions about Medicare and Medicaid that clients were asking them.    They knew that depending on their circumstances, individuals under the age of 65 with disabilities can  qualify for either Medicare or Medicaid, and sometimes both.  Each benefit program has its own eligibility criteria.  Understanding the relationship between the two can be confusing.  This month we touch on other programs and how they may interact/supplement Medicare/Medicaid.  This group set out to find answers for the people we serve in our practices.  These webinars are a way to share those  answers with people under 65 who have  disabilities  and the people who provide services for them.   We’d  appreciate your sharing the flyer with  people who would benefit from the information.    Here are links to the first  five  webinars if you’d like to have or share them.   Links to the video series  Session one #1   Panel begins to ask the questions.  Basic questions about the programs and eligibility.  https://youtu.be/wAm3sRUf3Qw  Session  two #2   Open enrollment, Medicaid Expansion,  Selecting the Medicaid provider that best meets your needs.   https://youtu.be/wVNMtZI5kcA                Session three #3   What are Waivers and a focused look at the Nebraska Aged and Disabled Community Waiver.  Guest Speaker Lora Young.  https://youtu.be/XsPNJvqBAVo      Session # 4   Medicare, Medicaid, or Both:  Case Studies to provide a quick review of the the programs, how qualifying for the programs may change for a person, long term care planning, and how skilled therapy services delivery may differ among the programs.   https://youtu.be/RxLmg-wdYfY  Session # 5  Medicare, Medicaid, or Both:  Exploring some community based programs   that may be available to  Nebraska Medicaid Recipients  with disabilities under the age of 65   Interviews with Guest Speakers.   https://youtu.be/CjCL7xvsjHA
