There are financial benefits that are available for veterans, or their surviving spouses, for non-service connected disabilities. The Veterans Administration has established a pension program whereby personal care and attendant home services may be paid for. Our program is designed to provide immediate assistance to qualified veterans and their surviving spouses. If you are a veteran, who has served at least 90 days or more on active duty, with at least one day of service during a period of war, or the surviving spouse of such a veteran, and you are in need of assistance at home due to your disabilities, you may be eligible for the VAs non-service connected disability pension.
